The pipes are a most solemn tribute to a departed relative or friend.

• The piper frequently plays at any or all of these events:

• Moving the casket or cremains into the church

• During the funeral service

• After the funeral service including playing the casket/cremains/clergy/family from the church/funeral home.

• Playing the casket from the church/funeral home to the hearse.

• Playing at the cemetery as the funeral procession arrives.

• Playing as the casket is removed from the hearse and carried to the gravesite.

• Playing during or after the interment service
